Very interesting piece, a wooden artist's box.  It has a palette with great inlaid brace which fits neatly inside.  Also several compartment to hold your paints, tools. 
	
It also sets up as a slanted work area.
	
Very nice condition. Original wooden pin construction with some added round nails.  Dovetailed case. Original hardware and dark brown dry paint.
